Central India Train Tour Time Table

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Day 1: Arrive at Delhi
Assistance on arrival at the airport or railway station and transfer to the hotel – check in and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi
After having breakfast, your city tour of old and New Delhi will start – visit Red Fort, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1648, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Chandni Chawk. Also visit New Delhi Birla temple, Parliament, India Gate, Qutub Minar, etc.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur
Catch the train at New Delhi railway station for Jaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour starts visiting Hawai Mahal, also called as Palace of Winds was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. After that visit City Palace, Royal observatory, etc. In the evening, you can roam around the colorful and Bazaars. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur – Agra
After morning breakfast, checkout from the hotel and depart for an excursion tour of the Amber Fort on elephant. Board on the train for Agra.

Day 5: Agra
Visit the Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World, which was built by Shah Jahan in the year 1632. Later, move to Agra Fort and also see Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Agra – Gwalior
Next morning, visit the railway station to catch the train to Gwalior. Visit the city of temples – worship at the Man Mandir, Teli Ka Mandir, Sas Bahu temples. Also visit Gujari Mahal, Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, and Tomb of Ghaus Mohammad plus the Mausoleum of Tansen. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Gwalior – Jhansi – Khajuraho
Visit the railway station to reach Jhansi. On arrival to Jhansi, drive to Khajuraho and see the temple and its ancient architecture. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Varanashi
Take a flight to Varanashi and visit Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha had given his first sermon.

Day 9: Varanashi
Visit early in the morning to the river Ganga and see the bathing Ghats. Enjoy boat riding, city tour of Varanash. Also visit the Bharat Mata Temple, the Vishwanath Temple and BHU (the Banaras Hindu University). In the evening, reach the railway station and board on for an overnight journey to Delhi.

Day 10: Delhi
Reach Delhi in the morning and check in to the hotel for relaxation.
