The Palace on Wheels is one of the most luxurious trains in the world running between Delhi to Rajasthan. The facilities available on the train are unrivalled. Palace on Wheels has a total of 14 fully air-conditioned deluxe coaches, 2 restaurants also known as kitchen cars, one bar cum lounge and 4 service cars. All the coaches have lavish interiors, beautiful paintings, comfortable furniture, providing its travelers with comforts and luxury of a real palace.

Palace on Wheels coaches derives their names from the previous princely states of Rajasthan Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Alwar, Udaipur, Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Dungarpur, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Sirohi, and Kishangarh. Each coach is decorated in harmony with the culture and individuality of the respective places.

Palace on Wheels coaches is equipped with all modern amenities to boost the pleasure of the journey. Each coach has 4 twin-bedded cabins attached to it. The onboard facilities available in the coaches of the Palace on Wheels include the bath & shower facility, H/C water supply, attached toilets, channel music, intercom, interesting games for children and wall-to-wall carpeting. One can communicate anywhere in the world from the train through its Satellite phone service.

The two restaurants cum kitchen cars are known as the Maharaja and the Maharani offer traditional Indian, Rajasthani, Continental and Chinese cuisine. The separate lounge attached at the end of each coach, provides passengers a relaxing ambience and exotic views of the great Indian countryside.

Palace on Wheels also has a beautiful gift shop called The Bazaar. The other facilities on the Palace on Wheels are beauty saloons, luggage collection, and mineral water and laundry services (on request).

Its runs from Delhi - Jaipur - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Sawai Madhopur - Chittorgarh-Udaipur - Bharatpur - Agra – Delhi in 7 nights and 8 days. It covers all the major attraction like forts, palaces, lakes etc in these cities.
