Day 1: Chennai
Assistance on arrival at Chennai railway station or airport. Check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Chennai
Visit Kanchipuram – one of the sacred cities in India and the city of thousand temples. You can visit Ekambareshwarar temple, Kailasanatha Temple and Vaikunda Perumal Temple. After having lunch, drive to Mahabalipuram – the city is well known for its seven pagodas – see these temples and then return back to Chennai for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Cheenai City tour of Chennai
Walk around the city – taste South Indian food in coconut flavor. Visit museum and see the Art and Bronze Gallary. Shop around in the evening and return back to the hotel.
Day 4: Chennai – Madurai
Check out of the hotel and reach the railway station to board in an AC chair car train to Madurai. Visit Sri Meenakshi Amman Temple, which is devoted to the companion of Lord Shiva. Also visit Nayak Palace and look at the flower market around the temple.
Day 5: Madurai – Periyar
Visit Periyar National Park, mountain ranges, etc. You can see wild life from a very close distance. Animals that can be seen are wild boar, elephants, tiger, wild dog, leopard, languor monkeys, etc. Stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 6: Periyar – Trivandrum
After morning breakfast, drive to Trivandrum and enjoy viewing the scenic beauty en route. Kerela is very beautiful and full of greenery, lakes and water. Feel the real tranquility in the lap of Mother Nature.
Day 7: Trivandrum
After morning breakfast, drive to Cape Comorin (Kanya Kumari – the Southern Part of India) and nearby places such as Kovalam beach, etc. Stay overnight in a hotel at Trivandrum.
Day 8: Trivandrum – Cochin
After having breakfast, drive to Cochin and visit the Kerela village en route.
Day 9: Cochin
Cochin, the queen of Arabian Sea is one of the finest natural harbors in the world. With man-made islands adjoining the main city, history at every step and massive Chinese fishing nets silhouetted against the setting sun – all these make Cochin the great tourist destinations. Visit this place and enjoy every moment. Board for an overnight journey to Bangalore.
Day 10: Bangalore
Arrive the city early in the morning and transfer to hotel. After having breakfast, take an afternoon tour to the Bangalore city. Visit the Lal Bagh that harbors several old trees, lotus pools and fountains. In addition, you can see various tropical and sub tropical herbs. Also visit the Maharaja’s Palace, Government building and lots more. Overnight stay at Bangalore hotel.
Day 11: Bangalore – Mysore
In the morning, reach the Bangalore railway station and drive to Mysore. Once you reach Mysore, check in to the hotel room and stay overnight in the hotel room.
Day 12: Mysore
After having breakfast in the morning, visit the Palace of the Maharaja
that was built between the year 1911 and 1912. The Palace accentuates
styles and historical architecture in the best possible manner. Stay overnight.
Day 13: Mysore – Chennai
After having breakfast, reach the railway station and board on the train to Chennai. Once you reach Chennai, transfer to hotel.
Day 14: Chennai
Tranfer to airport or the railway station for an onward journey
